Plug-In & Printer Driver Features

Drive the EDGE®, EDGE 2 and Gerber plotters directly from Adobe Illustrator 9.02 on Macintosh OS 9.1 with MacImprint software from Gerber. The AI plug-in has been rewritten from the ground up to include dozens of new features. MacImprint 2.0 does have technical and compatibility requirements that existing or new users must be aware of before upgrading or purchasing the software.

Macintosh® Printer Driver Features:  Now you can print process color directly from popular design and draw programs such as Quark XPress™, Adobe Photoshop®, Freehand™, and other programs, without any file conversions or transfers. Certain Macintosh programs can also drive Gerber vinyl cutters through the use of the drive. Among others, Freehand™ provides the proper data format for cutting vectors. This driver does not support placed .EPS images in a file. It also cannot print directly from Microsoft® Office Applications such as Word or Excel.
